Coconut Sugar

Coconut Sugar/

Description

Overview

Coconut sugar is produced by harvesting the nectar of coconut palm flowers, which is then cooked, crystallised and ground into granules. This traditional process preserves naturally occurring nutrients such as potassium, magnesium and zinc.

Unlike refined sugar, coconut sugar retains trace vitamins, minerals and antioxidants. Its distinctive caramel flavour and lower glycaemic index have driven increasing demand across European food markets.
